Interesting Facts...

So we found out on the first day of the ship some interesting facts that i'm going to share with all you you, now that i have time.  So on my Fall 2008 voyage there are :

628 students (largest fall voyage EVER!!!)

25% are from California

3% are from Colorado

3% are international students

74% are female

26% are male

and there are a total of over 1,000 bodies aboard the ship with students, faculty, and workers.  I thought it was really interesting and kind of fun, so i thought that i would share that with all of you.  My seasickness is definitely getting better, i can still feel the ship moving constantly, but am not getting sick when it does.  Except i do tend to still slide in the shower a little bit haha.  It's interesting taking a shower on a boat that's moving.  My roommate has been going to the gym too, i'm going to start tomorrow, i've just been too sick to go yet, but she said she accidentally fell off the treadmill the other day running when the boat hit a big wave....oops!!! haha we're all walking around like we're drunk, but really just trying to get our sea legs.  Well classes have started and i already know that my Global Studies class is going to be a SNOOZER!!! even my roommate agrees with me and there's 300 people in the class, so you can imagine what that's like.  Well i'm joining a health and wellness club on the ship because it's something that's important to me and sounds interesting and we have our first meeting tonight, so i should get ready to head to my meeting. Hope to talk to you all soon and can't wait to hear what you all have been up to.  I send my love and good thoughts...
